The wild South

From your place of care, you will take the tamarins road towards the wild South. The wild South will amaze you with its sumptuous landscapes. Your first stopover will be on Grande Anse beach.

Beautiful white sandy beach, bordered by coconut palms, worthy of a real postcard. You will then have the opportunity to make a short stop at the viewpoint that overlooks Manapany.

You will then head towards the impressive cascade of Grand Galet, also called Cascade Langevin. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful waterfalls of the island, of an extraordinary beauty with several small waterfalls that join in a natural basin.

The road that leads to this famous waterfall is simply beautiful by its authenticity.

You will then head to Cape villain, an exceptional place. Ancient lava flows have formed a cliff that plunges into the sea. An omnipresent swell allows to admire the waves crashing on the cliffs. A simply unique place. You will then have the opportunity to admire the volcanic flows of the Grand Brûlé.

A change of scenery guaranteed with a simply impressive landscape. You will then have lunch at Anse des Cascades, a magnificent site with several waterfalls, a simply splendid Palm Grove and a small harbour for the nearby fishermen.

Then you will take the road again towards the church-Notre-Dame-des-Laves. This church was miraculously spared during a lava flow that burned everything in its path.

You will then have the opportunity to contemplate the suspended bridge of the Eastern River, a historic monument of reunion. Your excursion will end with the visit of the Church-Sainte-Anne, a veritable architectural masterpiece!
